This Privacy Policy is aligned with the Pink Rider Terms and Conditions and explains how Pink Rider collects, uses, stores, shares, protects and deletes information.
Women-only service: Pink Rider may process identity, profile and verification information reasonably necessary to confirm eligibility for its women-focused passenger and driver service.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to the Pink Rider app, website, passenger and driver services, verification tools, ride services, wallet and ledger functions, support, safety tools and associated systems.

3. How We Collect Information
Information may be provided directly by users, generated through app use, obtained from device permissions, created during rides and transactions, submitted during verification or support, or received from authorized technical, mapping, payment, communication or safety providers.

- Confirm passenger, driver, vehicle and women-only service eligibility.
- Book, match, dispatch, navigate, track, price and complete rides.
- Operate fares, wallet, ledger, fees, promotions, adjustments and settlements.

- Prevent fraud, fake GPS, fake rides, account misuse, unauthorized access and payment abuse.
- Improve reliability, performance, maps, routing and customer experience.

5. Location Data
Location is used for maps, pickup and drop-off selection, operating-area checks, nearby-driver discovery, matching, route and fare estimates, driver availability, navigation, live tracking, safety review and dispute investigation.
For drivers, background location may be processed while the driver is on duty, eligible to receive requests while the app is minimized, travelling to pickup or completing an active ride. Pink Rider does not intend to use background location for unrelated tracking.
6. Camera, Documents, Images, AI and OCR
Camera and document access may be used for face, CNIC or ID, driving licence, character certificate, vehicle documents, vehicle photographs and support evidence. AI, OCR, face detection, document reading, quality scoring or risk assistance may support verification. Automated results may be reviewed manually and may require resubmission or additional checks.
7. Legal and Operational Grounds
Pink Rider processes information where necessary to provide requested services, perform platform arrangements, protect users and the platform, prevent fraud, comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and obtain consent where consent is required.
8. Sharing of Information
Pink Rider does not sell personal or sensitive user data. Information may be shared only where reasonably necessary with:
- The passenger and driver involved in a ride.
- Authorized Pink Rider support, verification, safety, finance or administrative personnel.
- Cloud, mapping, navigation, communication, payment, security or technical providers.
- Insurers, legal advisers, emergency services or safety partners where applicable.
- Police, courts, regulators, tax authorities or other lawful authorities where required.
9. Public and Inter-User Information
Limited profile, vehicle, driver, passenger, pickup, drop-off, location or ride information may be shown to the other matched user when necessary for the ride and safety. Pink Rider does not intentionally make verification documents publicly available.
10. Data Retention
Retention depends on the type of record and purpose. Pink Rider may retain account, verification, ride, wallet, settlement, complaint, safety, security, fraud-prevention, tax and legal records for as long as reasonably necessary for service, disputes, accounting, legal obligations and platform protection.
11. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request deletion inside the app or at https://pinkrider.com.pk/account-deletion/. Requests may also be emailed to pinkriderprivatelimited@gmail.com.
After identity verification, Pink Rider will permanently delete the user's account and delete or irreversibly anonymize associated personal data that is no longer required. Limited information may be retained only where necessary for completed rides, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, wallet or settlement records, accounting, tax, security, legal or regulatory obligations. Retained records do not keep the user's Pink Rider account active.
12. Security
Pink Rider uses authentication, access controls, secure connections, role controls, verification measures, logging, monitoring, backups and other administrative and technical safeguards. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.
13. User Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, users may request access, correction, clarification or deletion of their information and may manage certain permissions through device or app settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning.
14. Children and Minors
Minors may use the service only through, under the supervision of, or with the consent of a parent, guardian, school, institution or lawful responsible person where applicable. Pink Rider may request appropriate consent or account-management arrangements.
15. Third-Party Services
Mapping, navigation, cloud, payment, communication or other third-party providers may process information under their own policies. Pink Rider encourages users to review relevant third-party privacy notices.
16. Cross-Border or Remote Processing
Technical service providers may process or store information in locations outside the user's city or country. Pink Rider will use reasonable contractual and technical measures appropriate to the service and applicable law.
17. Policy Updates
Pink Rider may update this Policy for legal, safety, technical or operational reasons. The updated date will appear on this page, and material changes may also be communicated through the app, website, email or notification.
